The Doctoral Degree in Economics is an interuniversity program offered by the universities of Burgos, Salamanca and Valladolid, and coordinated by the University of Valladolid. Despite the interdisciplinary nature of the doctorate, all the teachers from the University of Salamanca are specialists in the branch of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis and, therefore, students are expected to produce a dissertation framed within the fields of economic theory, econometrics or their areas of application.
The program is mainly aimed at students holding degrees in Economics; Business Administration and Management; Marketing and Market Research; Finance, Banking and Insurance; Mathematics; Engineering; Geography; History; Law; Sociology; Philosophy; or other similar degrees. In any case, they should be interested in acquiring in-depth knowledge and producing new information through research in any of the fields included in the areas of research specific to this Program.
