General Rules

• Royal Decree  778/1998, de 30 april which regulates the third year of university studies, obtaining and issuing a Doctorate and other postgraduate degrees. (Valid as established in the First Transitional Provision of R.D. 99/2011).
• Royal  Decree 1393/2007, de 29  october (BOE 30/10/2007), which establishes the organisation of official university studies modified by Royal Decree 861/2010, 2 July (BOE 3.7.2010). Consolidated text from both decrees (Valid as established in the First Transitional Provision of R.D. 99/2011).
• Royal Decree 99/2011, de 28 january  (BOE 10/2/2011) Royal Decree 99/2011, 28 January (BOE 10/2/2011) which regulates the official Doctoral studies programme.
• Royal Decree 534/2013,  12 de july (BOE 13/7/2013) which modifies: Royal Decree 1393/2007, 29 October, which establishes the organisation of official university studies; 99/2011, 28 January, which regulates the official Doctoral studies programme; and 1892/2008, 14 November, which regulates the conditions for access to official university degree studies and the admissions procedures for public Spanish universities.
• Royal Decree 967/2014,  21  november (BOE 22/11/2014) which establishes the requirements and procedures to recognise and declare compliance with the equivalence conditions pertaining to the university degree and official university level, to validate foreign studies of higher education, and to determine the equivalence of the levels within the Spanish framework of official qualifications for advanced degrees obtained for Architect, Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, and Technical Engineer.
• Royal Decree 195/2016, 13 may, (BOE 3.06/2016) which establishes the requirements for the issuance of a European Diploma Supplement for University Doctorate

• - Decree 10/2016, 14 april, which sets public pricing for academic services in university studies leading toward obtaining an official degree, valid nationwide, and for ancillary services in the Public Universities of Castile and Leon in the academic year 2016-2017 (BOCyL 18/4/2016).

University of Salamanca Regulations 

• Regulation for Doctoral studies of the University of Salamanca   approved by the Governing Board of 25 October, 2011, modified by the Permanent Commission of the Governing Council of 18 July, 2013, the Governing Council of 26 June, 2014 and of 29 January, 2015.
