The curriculum of the Doctorate in Training in the Knowledge Society has been designed by the Faculty of Educational Sciences with the clear purpose of presenting teaching-learning processes as solid driving forces of the so-called knowledge society. It promotes dissertation and generation of knowledge along these lines and in association with the latest technological developments.
The approach is interdisciplinary and multicultural, following lines of research related to the areas of social sciences (education, communication and information and documentation), engineering and health sciences (medicine). The research team from the University of Salamanca relies on a full staff of national and international researchers who are at the forefront in research into the building of the knowledge society.
