The main purpose of the Doctorate in Modern language is to provide students with the skills required to develop research towards the presentation and defence of their dissertation in the academic areas of German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian, Slavic and East Asian literature and linguistics. After acquiring in-depth knowledge of the branch studied in their undergraduate and master’s degrees, and upon completion of this doctorate, students are expected to have sufficient research capacity to open their own research lines.
This Doctorate is especially recommended for Spanish or foreign students who have carried out undergraduate and/or master’s degree studies in the following academic areas:
